Our Story

The rich German tradition of master butchers, known as Fleischermeisters is a centuries-old practice rooted in preparing, curing and cutting of the finest of meats. Skilled artisans pass down specialised techniques and recipes from generation to generation. At Hartlief, we honour this tradition by employing dedicated Fleischermeisters who use time-honoured techniques to produce the highest quality meats. This legacy is reflected in the delicious taste of our products.

The Hartlief Delicatessen, located at the prestigious Hilltop Village is the premium home to our Fleischermeister’s Pride.

Hartlief Shop & Bistro

The Hartlief Shop and Bistro is situated in the Northern Industrial area of Windhoek at the entrance of the Hartlief factory.
